The Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has today refused development consent for the project: AQUIND Interconnector.

The Blue Lamp Trust runs a scheme called the Bobby Scheme, which provides free home security visits, long-life smoke alarms and advice to vulnerable residents in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Please click here for more information.

The AQUIND Interconnector Project has now started its Examination Process and Denmead residents have the opportunity to speak and provide their views at the Open Floor Hearings, the first of which commences on Monday 7th December 2020.
