Bottle Banks
There are three bottle banks within the village. These are provided by and the responsibility of Winchester City Council and are emptied once each week. Each bottle bank will take mixed glass so it is not necessary to sort into separate colours.
They are located at:
- Ashling Park Road opposite James Howell Court
- Kidmore Lane in the car park at King George’s Field near to the scout hut
- Denmead Community Centre, School Lane
Bottles and glass may also be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at:
- Waterlooville Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)

The Household Waste Recycling Centre is open 7 days a week, excluding 25 and 26 December and 1 January.
- 9am-6pm – 1 April to 30 September
- 9am-4pm – 1 October to 28 February
- 9am-5pm – 1 March to 31 March
