Invitation to Tender for the Multi-User Games Area.

Winchester has granted Denmead Parish Council planning permission to construct a Multi-Use Games Area in King George V Field (more commonly known as Ashling Park). This is a major step forward and means that we can now officially go out to tender to find the contractors who will build this exciting new facility for the village.

You may recall that provision of the MUGA was included in Denmead’s last neighbourhood plan, and last Autumn, we asked you which sports and features you would like to see in it. Based on your feedback, our tender is for a MUGA with markings for 5-a-side football, basketball, hockey, netball, and handball, enabling all of these sports to be easily played for free in Ashling Park.

We will continue to keep you updated on developments in delivering this new facility for the residents of Denmead and, as always, we invite you to get in touch via www.denmead-pc.gov.uk , by phone 02392 247947 or by dropping into our office in Ashling Park for more information or to get involved.

To receive the documents for tender please email the Parish Clerk parishclerk@denmead-pc.gov.uk
